In case anyone has ever had the same problem as me and needed those old versions of etax software that the ATO issue, I've gathered them and made them available for download from here.
Many thanks for the eTax exe Adam, I spent some time trying to get the 2003 version from http://web.archive.org Then found you had posted them all. My collection is now complete. Best Wishes Clive
Hi Adam. Thanks heaps for your previous etax links. I actually found your blog page from googling "previous etax versions". Now if only the ATO showed us much initiative as you ... Thanks again. All the best Robin
Thanks Adam for the listing the old e-tax versions. Before stumbling across your site, I've had to keep this old crap PC running once a year just for e-tax purposes. I can now throw the PC away and move on... I can't believe the ATO can't think of this great idea.
Hi there, Thank you so much for this, you are a champion! I swear they used to make previous versions available on the ATO site but could no longer find them. After about half an hour of searching I stumbled across your page. Thanks again! Dan
Thank you kind sir, you have saved me big time.. After doing a windows reinstall for a client, she didn't have the setup files for these old etax programs and as she a tax accountant she needs them and would've been most displeased with me if i couldn't get them back for her.. So once again thank you very much!!
Hi Adam, thanks heaps for posting these, much appreciated. I cant seem to get 2008 and 2010 to work though? I am getting " Exception EConvertError in module etax2008.exe at 0000AFBE. '01/01/2009' is not a valid date. The same happens for the 2010 version. Do you have any suggestions? Cheers, RD
You are a lifesaver. 2012 was the only year I didn't print a hardcopy of my tax return (and I didn't copy the program to my new computer.) I needed the 2012 figures for the asset depreciation worksheet. Many thanks.
Has anyone else found that the previous ones (2013 in this case) don't appear to work properly? They can't connect to the ATO to do things like update or pre-fill data. Is this something deliberately done by the ATO?
Hi Adam, Thanks for the link, but when I go to install it I get an error saying "Documents" is not a valid short file name and doesn't install. What does this mean and how do I get around it. This is for etax2013.
Hi Adam, thanks for doing this! I'm having a problem uploading 2010 as it says a later version is already installed on my computer (of course it is!). Any suggestions for how I might get around that? Michael
Thanks Adam! After searching for the 2013 etax program with no luck, I was nearly going to have to do my return with paper!! That'll teach me!! Thank you! Thank you! Susan, Adelaide, SA.
What a really helpful archive! You've assisted a lot of people, including me, who have been searching for the older versions of e-tax. Thank you so much Adam.
Needed the 2012 version to access a family member's return. Really glad that you have set up an archive - ditto everyone elses comments about ATO not providing one.
Dear Adam, You're gent and a gem, your skills literally saved me 2 months of waiting in the ATO for the physical '13 Forms and a buttload of faffing about. Really appreciate your blog, cheers. Is there any possibility that you'd post a mac version for '09 and '10?
